pretty sure i have the h500. its one of the older bluetooths. anyway. most of the time my phone wont even recognize the bluetooth, and when it does, and i go to pair, i've tried, 0000, 1234, 9999, the last 4 of my #, 1111. none of which works. starting to think maybe the headset is too old for my phone. i have the env2.

  • Anonymous Oct 09, 2008

I was aware of the code 0000 for the Motorola H500 wireless headset, but it was not accepting the code the suggestions to reset the device really worked......Thanks to this very Site....!!!!!!

I appreciate it very much and now hands free again....

If the code 0000 does not appear to work, hold the button on top while attempting the sync from your device. It appears the H500 resets to 0000 when the button is held for over 5 seconds.

This worked for my H505 as well, but not on the first try.... more like the fifth but it did work. Thanks!

I can not pair my phillipson bluetooth #BCK08A to my blackberry curve. How do u pair them together?

Make sure you are in "pairing mode" by holding down the Multi Function Button (MFB) until the red and blue flashing alternately. When the device is off, holding down the MFB for about 5 secs will turn the device on; however, don't release the button and continue to hold until red and blue flashes. Then, you are in pairing mode.

My blackberry 8520 wont pair with Ford audio

In order to pair a BlackBerry device with a Bluetooth device, the Bluetooth device must be in pairing mode. Most Bluetooth devices are not set to pairing mode by default. Therefore, refer to your Bluetooth device manual for instructions on how to set the device to pairing mode.

1. On the BlackBerry device, in the device options, click Bluetooth.
2. Click the trackwheel and click Add Device. The Select Device list appears and lists devices that are in range and available to be paired.
Note: Only devices that are in range and are in pairing mode will appear in the available device list.
3. Click the device to which you are pairing. The Enter passkey dialog appears.
4. Enter the passkey to authenticate the device. Most Bluetooth devices contain a hardcoded passkey. See your Bluetooth device manual for the passkey.

Need numeric passkey to pair bluetooth to phone

The numeric password is 0000 or 1234. I have this bluetooth myself, it works great except for the plastic earpiece, be careful not to break it. Also verify that your phone is compatible if those passcodes do not work. You can do this through numerous sites for the phone or H15. Or by calling your phone company.

Can't

A passkey is similar to a password. When connecting to some bluetooth devices, you have to have a passkey for the connection to establish.
