My AIWA NSX-D70 no longer plays CD-Rs, even though it used to. It still plays regular CDs, however. When I attempt to play a CD-R, the unit attempts to spin the disk, but it seems not to be able to read it. This is not due to copyright violation, because all the other CD players in my house will play the CD-Rs. Is there any way to fix this besides buying a new unit?
Have the same problem with one of the cd-players in my home. A technics cd-player. Some fo the home-burned cd's work now and then. Sometimes it plays them, sometimes not.

Check the laser eye of your player clean or replace.
