Recently, my SkyFi 2 receiver will not turn on... but in spurts. It will work fine for a day or two, then it won't turn on. It's a power issue, and possibly the wires that connect it to the power supply inside the dash. I have disconnected the power cord from the cradle and reconnected, but that does not solve the problem. I have also removed the SkyFi from the cradle and replaced... does not solve the problem. I have inserted a different SkyFi into the cradle, but that does not solve the problem either. The issue is inside the cradle or inside the dash. My question is, what power source is the unit hooked to inside the dashboard? If it's the radio, then the problems is with the wiring.... however, if the installer hooked it into a different power supply inside the dash, it could be a fuse. The vehicle is a 2001 Chevy Blazer.
SOURCE: Skyfi won't turn on
I have the same problem. I bought two different cradles and cords. I even bought a new radio..nothing. Frustrated. Called Delphi and they are stumped
