Hello,
that logitech "G540" model does'nt exist. it could be "F540".
from the logitech support site: "Since the F540 is not designed as a USB audio device for PCs, not all system-based functions may work correctly.", "You'll have to select the F540 as a USB audio device for input and output within your operating system.".
Have you tried directly with the 3,5 cable? it work? wich o.s. are you using? do you select the audio device as audio input/output in windows sound setup? eventually disable all the audio devices except the headset one.
if none of that works and the product is under warranty i suggest to contact the customer care. in case you can try to sell it to a PS3 owner. bye
Is there a resync button on the bottom and on the base station (that is on the end of the usb plug that you plug into your computer)? Press the one on the base station first, then the one on the mouse within a few seconds.
You could also:
Try another set of batteries. Try another USB port.
Your friend should be able to use the headset if your friend's computer has Bluetooth feature. THe computer will send and receive the Bluetooth signals with one transmitter/receiver like your computer does and then connect to the wireless lan with a different transmitter/receiver system on a different frequency. Just make sure your friend's computer has Bluetooth feature turned on and then setup the headset by the "pairing" process.
Hi I was in a live session with you when you left. Apparently you have not paired the headset with the base. All you have to do is follow this procedure Place the headset in the charging base->Press
the base's pairing button->Both the telephone and USB buttons on the
base until the headset's link indicator will light for 2 seconds indicating that the pairing is successful. It should probabl charge after this. Let me know if you need more help.
The 500A base station is definitely compatible with the 510 earpiece. If the earpiece is turned off or unpaired the base station's red power light will be flashing. If the earpiece is already off, try turning it on by holding down the little black button on top. The base station will automatically try to find the earpiece and the blue light on top of the base will come on. If the earpiece is already on (slow flashing blue light on the mic boom) turn it off and back on again and wait for the base to find it.
