Code E20 i am getting the e20 code and my clothes are not spinning out .

    After going through a complete cycle the clothes are soaked. I tried to run the drain/spin mode and the clothes are still soaked. It is not spinning at all. What can I do? I can replace most anything since I am so handy...any ideas?

My cloths will wash but will not spin out the drum stop turning when it comes to the spin cycle makes a humming noise

I have an E20 code on my front loading Frigidaire gallery series washing machine, what does this mean and how does my husband fix it. Also, has anyone had problems with the matching dryer destroying...
That E20 could be a bad pump or clogged pump screen. Remove and clean out the tub to pump hose. Look for object in pump. A clogged airline to the pressure switch can also give the E20 code. The switch thinks there is still water in the tub when in fact there is crud in the end of the hose.

My zanussi FJS1025W washing machine is showing the error code E20 and it wont let me spin or drain the water away. I have cleaned all the filter but still it wont do anything other than take in the water...
Hi,
E20 is a draining error.
Check the filter.You need to take the filter out, empty it of all lint and replace it. It may have water trapped in already, so get a cloth ready to soak up excess liquid! Also, make sure when you put it back in you have tightened it enough to avoid leaking but not too much that you cannot get it back out.
If still the problem persists then the problem is with the draining pump.The pump is not pumping out the water.Check the pump impeller it may got stuck due to some obstacles.Replace it and this wont come again.

E20 message want spin
E20 is not an exact error code. It's indicating a possible pump out problem. Here is a few possible causes of an E20 error code:

1. Restriction in the drain pump

2. Failed pump

3. Water not pumping out fast enough (crimped drain hose)

4. Too many suds ( too much detergent or wrong kind)

5. Pressure switch (not communicating with control board)

6. Loose wire at pressure switch

7. Loose wire at pump or control board

8. Failed control board

Hello there
the Dreaded E20 fault is a drain problem
washer will show the E20 code and may not spin.
So i would first look for a clog in the hose right before the water pump there is a little cup in the black hose that could be full of suff if so empty the cup and it should work good after this

E20 code. Not draining
E20 is a general error code to get to the real problem try this..
Reading Error Codes 1. Wake the washer by pressing any button. 2. Wait 5 seconds. 3. Press and hold the START/PAUSE and CANCEL buttons simultaneously. As long as the buttons are held, the failure code will appear in the display as an “E” followed by two numbers, a number and a letter or two letters. The control will beep and the Door Lock, Wash, Rinse, and Final Spin indicator lights will flash. let me know what code come up... hope it helps

Too many E20 errors!
the first thing i would try is the pump..........if its not draining all the water out it will take longer to finish...........pump could be blocked......alst the hose from the pump........check both first.....
