If you didn't set any password, the default password for most Insignia TVs is 0000. If this doesn't work, you should be able to use 9999 to override or reset the password. After unlocking the TV you may also need to switch off the parental control (V-Chip) feature from withing the on-screen menus
If these numbers don't work or you need assistance with switching off the parental control feature, please reply to me with the model number of the TV.
the info for resetting this should be in your uiser's manual. the default manufacturers code is either 1234 of 0000. if neither of those work, you're going to have to call the manufacturer and have them walk you through the master reset process.
The original factory password is 0000. Four digits. The factory master password for resetting the password is 3448.Put this number in and it will allow you to set a new password. If you never inserted a password you should try the 0000 number first to see if this works. If these numbers do not work for solving the problem. Call Insignia customer support at 1-877-467-4289. You can also visit the website www.insignia-products.com and go to the customer support section and get help there. I hope this information helps you with your problem.
Reset the password to '0000' by holding the VolumeDown and ChannelUp buttons on the TV (not remote) for about 5 seconds. Do this while viewing blocked content- you'll see the screen blink when it gets reset. Then go into the menu and disable/change the v-chip settings as desired using password '0000'. Hope this helps- -sv-
