Kodak easyshare c340 wont turn on
My EasyShare was doing the same thing your post describes, which is how I came to be at this website. I tried the one suggestion of turning on camera (I did so to the 'Auto' setting), then pressing the |O|/i button, which is the button below the 'delete' and above 'menu' next to the screen. That didn't work for me. I then tried the suggestion with the other modes on the power dial, no luck.
I then, from the off position, turned the dial the other way, to the 'favorites' icon, and it worked! I didn't have a memory card in at the time, so it made a noise almost like saying "uh-oh", with the message 'no images in favorites'. I then turned it off, then turned it to 'auto' again, good to go! The lens opened, green light remained on in all modes.
If this helps even one person, I'm glad.
when we turn the camera on, the green light blinks twice, then a red light comes on and the camera shuts down. The lense does not come out. We believe it was dropped recently but not sure the specifics.
I turned my camera on, the lens came ou, but then it shut down. I put new rechargeable batteries in, but it won't turn on so I can get the lens back in. HELP!!!
The lens will not extend on my C340 camera. It was working with a new fully charged battery, then stopped. The screen lights normally, but the lens won't extend. After a few seconds, it shuts down.+-
