Now my problem is this, once I installed the Lexmark 6650 printer, my computer hangs during reboot. If I turn the printer off, then it continues to reboot. The printer is connected by USB cable. Any thoughts?
This is a problem I've seen with Dell PCs, what it is doing is trying
to boot from the card reader on the printer. My PC had this problem,
and a Dell BIOS upgrade fixed it. It would even try to boot from USB
keys or mp3 players I left in the USB slot! So I have a feeling you
have the same problem I had.
If you don't feel comfortable updating the BIOS, then contact Dell and maybe they can walk you through it.
You can also try changing the boot order in BIOS
