Water dispenser isnt working. Water is slowed to a trickle and ice maker isn't getting enough water to make cubes. We have checked the line from the wall for clogs and it is clear.

Is there a water filter in the unit and if so, when was the last time you changed it? If there is a water filter and the flow of water to the dispenser and icemaker could be impeded by a filter full of "stuff".

After changing water filter in side by side fridge, dispensed water still had mold floating in it. I have flushed the dispenser extensively. Is there a way to flush this stuff out of lines after the...

first check the water inlet tap
if the water from the tap does not has moulds then your refrigerator has moulds in the water line
for this you need to dispense water regularly untill the moulds gets lesser and lesser

also observe if that mould is really a mould or something is coming off your refrigerator dispenser
could be silica from previous filter
cannot confirm unless you observe the mould.

Thanks

We changed the filter to the water dispenser but

run about 2 gallons of water through the filter, if it did not help - the stuff is coming out the tubing between the filter and the dispenser. Check water hardness. If you have water softener, make sure it works properly.

No water flow from dispener on door

Could be as simple as the water filter is frozen, clogged or needs to be replaced. If not that, could be water valve or the dispenser actuator. I have also seen the line to the dispenser in the freezer door freeze.

CHANGED FILTER, HUGE INCREASE IN WATER DISPENSER PRESSURE

No it will be fine. Just think about all that small particulate stuff the filter caught and filtered out of your drinking water. The pressure will drop as this filter begins to collect particles from your water and be back to about the same in a few months. Sea Breeze
