I don't know about this particular philips chassis but I've got a phillips tp3281 with a #32d700-7570 chassis with the same problem: apparently common with philips sets. I opened mine up and discovered the burnt capacitor that others have reported, replaced this as recommended with a higher rated one. In many cases this is apparently ALL that is required to fix the prblm (a 50 cent part)unless other components are also damaged which appears to be the case with mine. This repair is about $150 here locally at a shop which I didn't want to put into a relatively old set. Have you opened up your set yet? Do a Google search on your set and you might find that others have had the same problem and a simple fix could be possible. Also you could check the following site as they seem to be quite savvy and responsive with TV repair questions: http://www.tv-forums.com; Hope that helps!
