Do i have to replace my phone?

If it powers up when it is plugged into an AC outlet you may just need to replace the battery.
If it doesn't work on AC power it is most likely dead and not worth fixing.
If it is relatively new you can tell you cellular provider it broke (don't mention the part about giving it a bath) and maybe they will replace it under warranty.
If not they may offer you a discount on a replacement phone.

The last option is to buy a replacement on eBay. They have tons of cellular phones that you can purchase and activate on your account. Just make sure it is compatible with your cellular provider's network.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

Auto shot off my cellular phone

Hi friend,
I think may be you can try to check if your cellular phone has enough power, may be it is under "low power" condition,so it will auto shot off.Or it may be the problem of the person you called, may be their cellular phone has something wrong.

On button not working

Unfortunately, if the phone's power button is broken, you probably won't be able to power on the phone. It will either need serviced or replaced.

Have you tried calling your Cellular Phone Provider/Carrier so they can troubleshoot with you? If not, I would give that a try.

I hope this helps :)

Samsung SGH-Z500 Cellular

need to unlock this.
did the following procedure

1. Turn off your phone, put in a SIM of a provider that it is not locked to, and turn it back on.
2. At the wrong card message, type *#9998*3323#. A message will pop up telling you to press exit, so hit the right softkey. Choose number 7 (or 8 or 9 work, I think). Your phone will reboot and your SIM will work.
3. Type *0141# and then hit call. This will give you a message saying your phone is personalized.
4. Power down your phone and insert a SIM card other than the one that is in it. Power back up your phone.
5. At the SIM code prompt type 00000000, that is 8 zeroes

Have you tried powering the phone off and on? I had a v551 and the Bluetooth would get stuck sometimes and that always fixed it.
