When I run the dishwasher, it fills up with water but will not drain. Checked all of the hoses and they are clear.
SInce the drain hose is not plugged or kinked, the next step if to remove the filter that is beneath the lower rack done in the sump area. Remove approximately 10 phillips screws.
Inspect for debris in the mesh filter and underneath it, especially the drain outlet.
Reassemble and retest with a quick cycle.
If problems persist, suspect a failing pump motor. Schedule professional repair is recommended.
I had an OE error on our LDF6810ST. The problem with ours was that it would pump the water out... but the pump would keep running. After running thru the tests in the service manual and measuring the resistance of the drain motor, I determined the drain motor was fine, no blockages.
The problem was in the float chamber on the left side of the DW, There are 2 chambers with floats... one float was stuck (the longer of the 2) and wouldn\'t go up and down with the water level. I removed the chamber and cleaned it out and put the float back in it. Still stuck. I inserted a screwdriver handle in the chamber to expand it a little and heated the plastic a little with a heat gun (hair dryer would probably work, too)... so it would hole it\'s slightly expanded shape. Took the screwdriver out, cooled the plastic, Put the float in and it was free to move up and down (as much as the limiting arm would allow). Put it all back together and it was good to go... until I got an LE error... ordered a new washer pump and gaskets (<$75). Waiting on that.
As much as the thing cost, I think it should last a whole lot longer than 5 years.
