My Samsung SGH-t459A says "unknown

Contact your cellular provider and make sure that MMS has been enabled on your account. Many cellular carriers must enable the service on their computer systems before you can use it.

If you have MMS enabled on your account, then ask for Tech Support. They'll have you up and running in no time.

My Samsung Gravity won't send picture messages. It keeps saying unknown subscriber.

That is not your phone saying but the service provider is throwing a hint that you have not subscribed to MMS service. Picture msgs come under this category and is not free.

Can't recieve multimedia messages

hi thanks for using fixya!

In regard with the Multimedia Messages or MMS, there is a specific settings for this that you need to have in your phone. I suggest that you should contact your Network Service Provider for the detailed settings, they can send you over-the-air settings or manually.

Hope it helps, if you need further, let me know.
