Please try re-seating the hard drive.
If you look at the bottom
of your laptop, along the edge there should be a screw larger then all
the rest which holds a small panel. Remove this screw and panel.
Remove the drive pulling lightly, with steady pressure, straight out.
Place the drive back in and screw the panel back.
We had a lot of these issues, and they were often solved by just this manner alone.
