You can ask to the cable company. However if you need the channel go to the MENU in TV, AND Auto program for add the 73 channel.
If you doubt, download from www.retrevo.com
God bless you

I have a Durabrand tv. Model DWT 1304A. How do I get my Dish network to work on it. What do I set my tv. and how do i do it. Thank You

I hope that you have gotten this resolved, but if not, here are some steps to get that working!! I hope this helps!

If you are at TV1, where the receiver box is located, the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4. Depending on the cable that is running between the receiver and the tv, the tv may need to be on an input, such as video 1 or 2. If you are at the TV2 location, where there is no receiver, then the tv needs to be on channel 60 or 73.
If you are using an HDMI cable, then the TV will need to be on an HDMI input
If you are using Component cables, your TV will need to be on a component input. (Usually Comp 1 or 2)
If you are using RCA cables, then the TV will need to be on a VIDEO input (Usually Video 1 or 2)
If you are using COAX cables, then the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4 (If you are at TV2, then the TV needs to be on channel 60 or 73)

Hi, my Phillips was hooked up and working fine directly to the DISH receiver using the HDMI 1. I moved and had to put the DISH receiver in another room and ran a coax cable to where the TV is now using...

Hey murphypat321,

Sounds like the TV may need to be on ch 73 cable rather than 60 air. Try switching the TV to 73, if it goes to 69 then put back on 60, if goes to 73 good. Once you have that set go to your TV1 and bring up the menu. Go to System Setup (6) -> Installation (1) -> Modulator Setup (5) and change the TV2 setup to either cable if on 73 or air if on 60 and the picture should come in if everything's hooked up.

Hope that helped! You can email me at [email protected] if the problem persists.

Our new vizio tv is hooked up just like our old tv, (satellite provider being dish network) and it says no signal with a blue screen

Hello. This is usually an easy issue to fix. To get the DISH Network back on the screen, i have included a few steps:

If you are at TV1, where the receiver box is located, the tv needs to be on channel 3 or 4. Depending on the cable that is running between the receiver and the tv, the tv may need to be on an input, such as video 1 or 2. If you are at the TV2 location, where there is no receiver, then the tv needs to be on channel 60 or 73.

I accidently changed the channel that I receive satalite tv on, dishnetwork can't solve the problem. TV will not take more than one number & dish tells me the channel should be 60 or 73 help

Is this a tv2 off of the primary reciver from another room?

If so there is a 2 step process to help you fox this.

Generally yes it is 60 or 73 but some installers do change it.

If it is on 60 The it will be on 60 AIR not 60 CABLE , if it is on 73 then is will be on 73 CABLE not 73 AIR..

To simplify this for you go into your tv's menu and select your air/cable type to air and have the tv do a channel scan. once complete use your remote and go up and down the channels in air mode it may find more than one. check and see if any of them are your dish box. If not then go back into the tv menu and select your air/cable setting to cable and repeat a channel scan. again once complete use the tv remote to go up and down channels untill you locate your dish box. If you do both of these and still do not have your signal verify that there is no VCR or DVD player "ON" at that location. They can be hooked up, just not on. Also some tv's have an antenna A and antenna B on the back of them , if your does make sure you test with both antenna connections. If you go thru all of this and still cannot get a signal then a line may have gotten cut or dissconnected and they need to send a tech out.

I have a Samsung 27" TV and need to set it on channel 73 to get a picture from my Satelite Dish. The highest channel the tv goes to is 69.

Set the TV to cable tuning mode and use that channel 73. You have it set for air now so it can only tune to channel 69.

Switching from TV to CATV

it sounds like the tv is already in cable mode, and that it is a older tv. some older tv's will only tune in so many channels. yours going up only to channel 69. if you have the remote for this tv, try punching in channel 73. if it doesn't tune in, then the tv will not recieve channel 73.
good luck

Toshiba 36a41 television

You should be able to use your remote control to do this.Your channel 73 is more than likely UHF 73 so you need to put your tv in the antenna setting rather than cable setting. Once you do this just input 73 with your remote. Hope this helps! Stargazer
