I bought a dell inspiron 15 3521 and i am having problem with the drivers

I bought the laptop which was pree installed ubuntu than i installed win 8 which got corrupted so i installed win 7 professional 64 bit here i having a driver problem and the drivers are not installing an errorr pops up ad it clses than so i went to service center in berhampur in orissa they said your product is not an indian purchase and there is no help for driver plzz help me with the drivers and help me on understanding what does it mean that your product is not indian purchase

You may be exceeding the Hardware limits of your laptop, Win 8 has hardware minimum requirements. See: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/system-requirements That's a common problem in a OS upgrade. Did you check the Hardware Compatibility list before you installed Win 8? Take a look at this: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/termshm/g/windowshcl.htm First you must ID the Unknown Device, Card Reader is common along with Fax modem, Audio, on a full size laptop. ID the device and download the driver from the Dell website.

have you went onto the BIOS to make sure that the boot options are correct e.g. CD DRIVE 1st priority?

Sir,
it is no driver problem but of your Windows ... sometime while updating Windows it get shutdown improperly or say for any reason its update installation stop and therefore this problem occurs so you can reinstall your windows and it would be fine.

How to install win xp in DELL inspiron 1525

you'll need to buy an install disk, from there you just have to format the drive ( or get a new one) and install it on that, once that is done you'll just have to download all your drivers to bring it back up to date.
