Sim lock reset code can be given by your sim card provider please contact them

I have a Samsung GT-E2220 but it prompt me for sim password wheni insert my sim in.,. and i was trying to rest it but it also prompt me the security password with 8 digit,and i was thinking if you can help solve my problem..

send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.

You did wrong step my friend, if your phone locked by sim card you need puk code to unlock samsung sgh-x830 sim lock pin. This puk code is unique and you only can get that from your network provider, that's what is going to be happened if you just insert any puk code from internet to unlock samsung sim card. Now the only option that you have is call your network provider and explain to them your condition, i hope your sim card can be unlocked otherwise you must change new sim card.

Remove the sim card from the phone, where you would write the phone number, for example for calling 911, write the code given to reset the phone.

you mght have to ring the phone company and pay a little extra, thsi is the main way and have never heard any other way of doing it, unless theres a new trick, if there is let me know. thankx

I think you have a Network locked. You can check on Ebay to buy an unlocked code. The seller will provide you the code with instruction of how to unlock it. You should prepare your phone IMEI number to give to the seller in order to get a proper code. In order to know your phone IMEI number, just type *#06#
