Missing pictures on sd card

I had used the sd card in my kodak easyshare c613 but also in a Jazz DV164 video camcorder for both stills and video. I had inserted the sd card into my laptop and transferred them to my computer but there were pictures there that i didn't want my kids to see. Removed sd card from laptop and deleted the picture file and emptied the recycle bin. Somewhere along the way some but not all of my pictures were lost from the memory card. Is there any way to recover the pictures that are missing. Hope you can help. Lisa.

I had success with this
1. Do not save any new file to memory card.
2. Connect your card to computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download SD card photo recovery software, recommended one is this photo recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked)
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/
4. Install and open the photo recovery program, select your memory drive, and click 'Start' button to start scanning process which will find your deleted photos.

You may need to try some photo recovery software to rescue the pictures, here are some for your option.

Photo Recovery (for Windows)
Photo Recovery for Mac

Note: Before your files are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the SD card in case the original files(your pictures) are overwritten.

Kodak easy share C613 lost cd installer

You really don't need "drivers" so to speak with digital cameras. But if you like to use the kodak easy share software here is the link for your camera:

I lost my instruction booklet for my Kodak C 613 digital camera and was wondering how to download my pictures from my camera to my computer. Thanks.

The instructions can be found online here: http://resources.kodak.com/support/shtml/en/manuals/urg00711/urg00711c5s2.shtml
Overview here:http://resources.kodak.com/support/shtml/en/manuals/urg00711/urg00711c5s0.shtml

You have two options, you can connected the included cable from your camera to your computer and the Kodak EasyShare software.
Or you can remove the SD card from the camera and insert it into an SD card reader. Some laptops and printers have built in SD card readers. If not you will have to buy an SD card reader.

I can not figure out how to transfer pictures from my internal memory to my SD memory card on my Kodak easyshare camera.

Before you copy, make sure that:
A card is inserted in the camera.
The camera's image storage location is set to the location from which you are copying
(i.e. Go to your Menu and select Storage Location and select internal)
Copy pictures/videos:
Press the Review button, then the Menu button.
Press to highlight Copy, then press OK.
Press to highlight an option.
Press OK.
This will copy but not move the pictures

My kodak easy share c613 is locked and is saying that it cannot read my memory card. It would only let me take pictures with the internal memory.

Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Kodak easyshare c613: memory card says its full when there is no pix on it, what happens is: i turn it on, says "memory card full", i go to review, says "no pictures or videos to display on memory card",...

If you connected the camera to the computer with a USB cord to download your pics and then just yanked out the cord without using the "safely remove hardware" icon at the bottom right corner of your screen, the card may have been corrupted. Replace it.

Lens Problem

Okay, Kodak is a load of **** if they won't allow warranty on an item that doesn't retract. And I got an SanDisk SD Card like you, and on most of my pictures it says, "FILE FORMAT UNRECOGNIZABLE." You should Email Kodak and talk to them about that warranty, or at least make them tell you how to fix it. What a jyp!
