Hi,
First, Make sure that the printer is properly plugged in to a working electrical outlet and that it is hooked up to the computer as indicated. There should be two separate cables running out of your Dell 924, a power cord and a
USB cable that communicates with the computer. If both of these aren't plugged in, then the machine will not function properly.
If the
lights on your printer aren't working then it means one of two different things:
- Printer has an internal electrical problem and needs repair or
- Printer isn't receiving power from the outlet or power cord
Check whether, are you getting power from the socket by connecting some other component..If it works check whether the Power cord is propwerly connected, try pressing the power cord once..
If not the circuit may be damaged, Which cant be repaired inhome, you have to return to DELL service center and make it repaired
