SOURCE: samsung refrigerator RS2534WW ICE MAKER DOES NOT FUNCTION PROPERL
Hello here is how to fix the problem, first you have to remove the ice bin then then press the freeze temp and power cool buttons for about 12 seconds until the display panel switches to the option mode and you hear a beep.
A number under "Frige temp" corresponds to the option number. Press the fridge temp. button to increase the number and the power cool button to increase the number and the power cool button to decrease the number. set the option number to 3
now you have to select the input data to control the water supply time. Press the freeze temp button to increase the value. Press the power freeze bottom to decrease the value. Choose the right amount of water supplied to the ice tray which should be to where the water level is even with the rib on the inside of the tray.
input data = 00, 5 secs/01, 4 secs/02, 3 secs/ 03, 6 secs/ 04,7 secs/05,8secs
Let em know if this helps or not.

all you can really do is put heat to it (hair dryer) but be careful that you don't melt the water tube. or you can remove food and leave door open til it melts

Your model has the twist tray style icemaker. The part number for you front section that contains the motor assembly is DA97-00258E Ice Maker Assembly. You can try by taking it out and seeing if the tray will return to the home position but stopping there make me question if the thermal fuse in wiring harness may have blown. We may need to test that wire also to see if the thermal fuse is still good, I will leave you some of the links and ready to help when you need me, Thanks, Sea Breeze

I have the same problem. I just called custormer support and they are shipping me a new ice bucket to resolve the issue (I'm still under warranty). Based on the agent's quick response, it seems that this is not an uncommon problem.
