You will need someone who is qualified in commercial gas appliance repair to fix this.
Liabilities would render this out of reach for anyone else.

Imperial Deep Fryer pilot won't stay lite

When the pilot goes out and won't stay lit is is usually because the Thermocouple safety device has failed.

The burners should never be on when the thermostat is off. That is incredibly dangerous. You need a gas registered service technician.

Pitco fryer pilot light wont stay lite

The thermocouple is bad or the pilot light is not adjusted to heat the thermocouple to the point where the safety shut off stays on.

Gas fire wont stay lit

The thermostat probably reached the set temp, but maybe the pilot lite blew out. Or the control needs to be replaced.

Fryer turns on heats up and then will not keep temp.

You would be correct in your assessment to check the thermostat.

My pilot light won't stay lite, replace thermopile and still doesn't stay lite.

Hi there.
Check for wiring errors, fix and tighten all wiring connections. Make sure that the gas pressure is correct.
Check the hi limit and gas valve, one of those component may be bad.

Flame goes off when temp. reaches 250 degrees, use to stay on 350 degrees without problems an them started acting up and won't reach that temp any more, disconnect the pilot automaticly

Hi limit device trips prematurely (should only trip when oil temp reaches 450F). Check if the hi limit sensing bulb (located inside the fryer tank, between fire tubes) is not touching the fire tube because if it does, it will sense the heat from burner flame which is much higher than oil temp.

Pilot goes out when fryer reaches set temp. and shuts-off.

try to change the thermal battery the device that the pilot heats.. other wise there is a screw at the botton of the automatic valve.. try to increase the pilot so it can heat more the thermal battery! u dont have enough voltage to activate the solenoid valve so thats why ur pilot goes off

Imperial fryer IFS-40

I had a very simular problem. My fryer would do exactly as you described, but sometimes the pilot light would stay on until the burners tried to re-ignite and then it would go out.
I finally had to call the gas company. They took the pilot light apart and cleaned it. The fryer works perfect now.
Hope this helps!
