Changed cable from PS2 to USB. How do you convert it to recognize USB. Do I need software?
You can not change a qs6000 from ps2 to usb by just changing the cable. the interface inside the unit needs to support usb, to check this look at label with the serial number and if it says "I/F=KBW/RS" your our of luck, and can only use ps2 or rs232. if it says "I/F=UW" then you can just scan 3 barcode from the manual to set the interface to usb
