TV AUTOMATICALLY CHNAGES VOLUME ( INCREASES TO MAX) AUTOMATICALLY CHANGES TO DISPLAY SETTING CHANGE MENUE ( SET PICTURE / SET SOUND ETC MENUE) REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS ONLT TO REDUCE VOLUME, BUT IS INEFFECTIVE FOR REST OF THE CONTROLS
Please check touch key board i think it is defect

SOURCE: Unable to change any settings, volume, channel, AV input etc
you have a defective main board. replace the main pcb

anyone have a proble of the screen just freezing or going dark and making a high(loud) pitch noise?

SOURCE: No control either by remote or manual.
Unplug your tv for at LEAST 4 hours. By doing this you are doing what we call a "master reset", the processor and memory inside are reset.
Let me know what has changed so I can further assist you from there.
