My food processor just stopped working?

I have had my cuisinart for alittle over 4yrs. Today I was using it as normal I put in a cubed frozen apple and some water, I stopped the machine and added some splenda and some more water and went to turn it back on and the blade will not turn at all. The whole thing is just kinda of stuck? It just makes a humming noise, even if I try to turn the tan part that stickes up on top without the bowl attached it will not turn?? Please help how can it just stop working like that I have taken such good care of it never have dropped it? It was not overly full or anything?

A Cuisinart food processor doesn't start before the top is assembled properly, that is a safety feature. Their strong motors can withstand also hard to cut ingredients.

The food processor stops working after use. I know there is a reset "hole" to make it start again. I can't see where it is and cannot find it in the manual. Please tell me where it is so I can...

Not all food processor have a reset button, some don't have. You have to be make sure that the unit is in fit, suited because it will on the interlock switch (the safety switch) before it operates normally.
I hope I give you idea regarding your food processor problem.

Tried to use my powerprep pluss cuisinart food processor and nothing happens. The on button lights up but nothing happens when i press the pulse button.

Remove the work bowl from the base of the food processor, and separate the bowl, lid, and pusher sleeve.
Plug the base into the wall outlet, turn the food processor ON, and then use a pen to press in the dark grey or black button on top of the base of the food processor - if you hear some kind of noise, then your motor is still good.
Put the work bowl on first, with the handle facing the front of the food processor.
Put the lid on, with the lid lined up with the handle of the work bowl.
Put the pusher sleeve in the lid, with the metal piece facing the front of the processor.
Your processor should now turn on.

If it doesn't call Cuisinart and see if you are still in-warranty (3-year warranty).

Good luck!
