Sound in camera not working

The ViviCam is designed primarily as a still camera. It does not record sound when in video mode. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on the camera.

You cannot adjust the sound volume on the camera but it does record the sound during videos. During playback on the camera itself you can unfortunately not hear the sound associated with your videos. You are required to download your videos to your computer to hear the sound. Wish the instruction pamphlet told us that.

Unfortunately this camera does not have the functionality to record sound during the movie recording mode. The camera was not designed with any input or output audio speakers. This is why you do not hear any sound on the playback.

sound has recorded , camera has no ampliflier to produce sound therefore save on computer then to cvd, or has the camera a s video cable connection (usually red wite and yellow cables) to allow you to play video through your tv using the tv speakers

Sony DSC-S700 can record voice in video clips but you can listen sound of clip by exporting it to computer and playback there.
Camera has no built-in speaker to playback sound.

Be sure that the camera is able to record with sound. When you mean no sound during playback are you talking about playback thru the camera or playback on computer after you download it. Be sure that your camera has a speaker on it to play sound back or that the volume playback is turned up. Also, to help with your situation a little better when asking for help list the model number and manufacture when ever possible. It will help with lengthy feedbacks.

I have a sony trv14e it was working fine yesterday on playback with sound my children pressed something and suddenly theres no sound on playback. Please help if you know how to restore the sound. Thankyou

The camcorder may be in what may be called "narration mode." This function mutes the playback audio so you can narrate with you own voice when playing tapes back. Check for a function like this in the playback sound menu.

a sony cleaning cassette may clear the gunk from your friend ' s possibly ? bad tapes ( do not rewind it - or the gunk will be redeposited ) ; if still no video , get an estimate to have your heads and guides cleaned . . . professionally ;
