E Studio163 - Printing - "No cassette with paper of size requested is available"

Hey I am trying to connect the e studio 163 to a window Xp pc. I have instaled the USB driver and then connect it to the com port in add printer. I am now getting the above error. Any ideas why? HOw do I get the e studio to print for me Thanks Ger

After changed one of the sensors ,the same problem-"no cassette with paper of the sieze requested is available" has happened,alway paper jam.
any ideas why?

First I will ask you all to install the printer driver or if you have the CD install the Toshiba Viewer Software as well then you can use that as an scanner also.....connect the printer to pc...then go to printer properties>device setting >Form to Tray assignment>change all the options to A4...>apply>OK.....Good Luck

Check the paper size in the printer's properties, the tray 1 is A4 for default, be sure to change Letter

If u tryed everithing then go to properties/custom properties/(paper/quality)/ then select BYPASS CASSETTE.

Try reseating the paper trays and clean any sensors the tray might have or the printer to tell it there is paper there or that the paper tray is in. make sure you program the paper into the machine so it will know the paper type.

set up the copier derive again & set the paper size
Make sure that the tray's paper size setting is the same as the tray's
paper size setting in the printer driver. For example, if the tray's paper
size setting is A4R (LT-R), set "Setting Paper Size" to "A4-R".

Cannot print. cassette does not have size of paper windows xp

Hi there, you will have to open the print driver, and set the paper size there.
Go start, settings, printers and faxes then double click on the Toshiba, that will open the print que.
Now click on printer, then click on properties, when the properties is open press on Printing Preferences, the paper paper tab on the top of the task bar of printing preference.
The auto cassette, the first cassette and the bypass must be set to the paper that your machine is set to.
Now apply the settings that you have made. Now go to advanced and then Printing Defaults click on Paper tab and change that paper size to the size that you entered for cassette one.
Run a test print and all your problems should be sorted out.

Try double check the paper size settings on the driver.

I am having problem in taking printout from TOSHIBA E STUDIO 166

You are trying to print to paper size that is not installed in the machine. Check what paper is installed in the machine then set your software application default paper size to the same value and then print away!
