I can't guarantee a solution, but your problem could be as simple as a stuck button... or as complex as damaged circuitry. Make sure you've tried unplugging it for a while before you try anything else. say 10-15min Is the "action" of your on set buttons normal? If not try working it or cleaning it. Pop it off and clean thoroughly if able. Not while plugged in! I saw a set like this where a button was stuck and it made it constantly switch sources; upon cleaning it we found what looked like a bit of cheese dip back there. Worth a look anyway!

Hi if turning it off at the plug for couple of hours then switching it back on dont cure the problem also check batterys in remote if this still dont work then you might have problem with video card or something relating to that or you might find that its going to be a resistor or transistor in the high voltage part of the circuit.
If you have multimeter and know how to test these compnents then you will need the schematics to follow and also need to be able to solder in any new parts you might need.
You will need the schematics so you can get any part numbers you might need let me know what you want to do ok

Turn stand by off without remote?

If the set is turned off to standby by its remote control, you must have its remote cotnrol to power it ON. No buttons on the front panel will work at this condition.

Hi,
Your power supply board is dead, u know basic electronics' and soldering? Most of the times, the power supply board just have dead leakages gases capacitors. These capacitors always bulges up on it top,or puff up on it top.Replaced these gases leakages capacitors will get your TV power stable, and work again.Or tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish power supply board for the replacement.

Take care in solving the problem.......

These are the instructions on locking and unlocking the control panel for your TV: Front Panel Lock This feature allows you to lock the buttons on the front of the TV. Even when the front panel lock feature is on, the TV operates with the remote control. To lock the buttons on the front of the TV: 1. Make sure the TV is on. 2. Press and hold the POWER button on the remote for approximately 5 seconds. To turn off the front panel lock: 1. Make sure the TV is off. 2. Got a small bush lcd tele i turn it on i get a blue screen with the word lock on

Try this
Try this...Press standby button on the remote to switch on the TV. Now press Vol- button on the front of TV while pressing the "7" button on the remote. If the lock has been successfully removed you should see a "OK" message appear on the screen.
If that doesn't work, try...
On the front of the TV...Push the volume + and -, OR, channel + and - at the same time and hold for a couple seconds, this should let you access the osd. If you can get to your menu through the buttons on the panel...immediiately go to the child lock and disable it.

This sounds like the front panel assembly(FPA) switches are acting up. What happens with this model is the FPA switches start to conduct just as if someone was pressing the buttons. This in effect locks up the system control or causes it to do erratic things.
The way to determine if the FPA is bad is to remove it by unplugging from set. This requires front panel disasembly. Note:The remote will still work with the FPA removed so the set can be tested.
Let me know if you need more help or info.
