Question about Brother MFC 420CN All-In-One InkJet Printer
My printer Brother MFC-420CN keeps showing the message, "Unable to Print," after it completes the start-up cycle. I'm able to use the Scan and Copy functions from the printer, and have whatever I scan or copy from this printer, printed out immediately on another printer connected to my computer. But I still can not print anything on my MFC-420CN. I went online and found a free service manual for the model MFC58 and learned how to put the printer on maintenance mode. I was able to get an error code, but since the manual is for the model MFC580 I was not able to learn the meaning of the code. The error code is 5A. Please any assistance with this matter will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
5A means paper jam or some sensor error, but the common proble of unable to print 5A is mechanical they did not fuction to cleaning because of mechanical error, replace the mechanical then clean the sensor under the mechanical.
