Downloads Am I able to download online internet games to my PS3? I was wondering if I can download games from the internet, in example PokerStars I want to download a game on my PS3 so I can play with family members (that have a computer) does anybody know i fI am able to do that and if I am do I need to buy a new memory chip of some sort?

That sort of thing is not (currently) support by the PS3. In the future though, who knows?

Yes you can go online by using o2 e160 stick.

Its a Plug and Play technology you'll be able to access the Internet as soon as you plug it in.

You will just need to for the downloads you do or till the pay as you go package last.

Please Note: download does not means that you download some software or any files from internet.

Internet browsing is also counted in downloads, because when you browser pages, the files and images which gets downloaded to your system also contains KB, and it is accounted as downloads.

I am getting huge downloads when playing on PS3. Had problems downloading yesterday, but ok now. Just when playing has used 20GB in one day!! Is there any known reason for that?
20GB for just playing online is way too much. Are you using wireless or wired internet? Maybe someone is leeching your internet connection and downloading stuff without your knowledge. Normal online play woulnd't consume such huge amounts of bandwidth. I recommend you change your wireless password.

PS3 has trouble loading games when ethernet is connected
sometimes the ethernet cables have shorts in them and cant process the info if you can connect wirelessly to internet your downloads will take maybe a minute longer but for all games you should be just fine

im sorry there isnt a way i have found yet that you can do this but you can share downloaded games from other ps3 owners accounts they downloaded from ps store by going and making a new account on your ps3 then go to sign up for ps online but use existing account and enter their login info into the boxes then go to store and their downloads are their for you to put on your ps3 enjoy

Check you internet connection (example try to surf the net on the ps3, if you can then simply the madden servers are down)

Servers for games do go down every now and then for maintenance, it's not uncommon at all.
