LO speed pump works, HI speed buzzes and shuts down <1sec

After HI start attempt, nothing will happen if I immediately try again. Wait a few minutes, the problem & failure can be repeated. Control panel works fine. Both starting capacitors have been removed and tested to the MF rating on the case. Relays on control board have been replaced with new.

SOURCE: High speed spa pump shuts off

The motor may have a thermal cutoff if the motor draws too much current. Do you have a sufficient large gauge circuit supplying the motore? If not the actual voltage at the motor may drop, causing it to draw more current to make up for the loss of voltage, thereby tripping the motor's protective breaker. I assume the motor will start again after serveral minutes of cooling down.

SOURCE: H53SP-24 pool cover water pump: Pump quit; circuit

I have the same issue. I pulled the pump from the assembly and bypassed the circuit board inside by creating a circuit with the 2 black wires...pump worked fine. Of course, it won't cycle on and off so my guess is that the pressure switch somewhere in the circuit board is bad. Rule has a great warranty as my current unit is a warranty replacement (2 years ago). Last unit had a stamped date code on it. I contacted tech support ( [email protected] ) and got a new one sent out. The replacement did not have a stamped date code, so my fear is that they won't replace this one. I picked one up online for $99 and free shipping. If I get resolution on the broken on, I will have on as a backup.
Good luck and if yours is less than 3yrs old, contact tech support.

Hi I have a proform treadmill model 995 I was working out and increased the speed up to 8 and it suddenly stopped. Now when I try to start it up it turn the belt for 1sec then doesn’t do anything. To try...

It’s the lower control board or speed sensor.

Not familiar with the model, but sounds like a board if it does not produce any error codes or is resolved by powering down.

Typically a dirty speed sensor will shut a machine down, because the speed the board and the sensor are not reading the same. Although this will often produce an error code, to be investigated.

When driving suddenly the engine cuts out.

I heave the same problem on my Corsa B 1.0 2000, engine cuts out, and whe it happens, I hear one of the relay under the right side of the dash buzzing. After a couple of minutes, starts like nothing happend.
So far I manage to find that the speed sensor is faulty, when I tap him the car stops. I order a brand new one, but I'm not sure that was the issue.
I order also a Opel Tech2 tester from ebay and it has to arrive next week, then I can see the error code.

Oil light comes on and engine shuts down at the same time. Oil level is good. This happens after about 3-5 minutes on the road. Engine will start up again if I wait a few minutes. The engine stall happens...

try a new oil pressure sender,
you could also fit a gauge into the oil sender hole and see if it has oil pressure.
There could be other reasons like a faulty oil filter, problem with bypass in oil pump, or a shorted or broken wire causing the shut down and light on.
If it is actually losing oil pressure and shutting down it would probably be making strange noises

After charging battery, when I press start, it attempts to start and then immediately shuts down. After recharging the battery a while, and attempting restart, the same thing happens again.

Hi

Have you tried to use your computer when power charger is connected to power supply? Then try it to check if your computer does not shut down. If do not shut down it self. You had problem with the battery or with charger not compatible with the battery. Normal problem of shutting down computer is that your battery have no charge, your battery is not compatible with your laptop or ever defective. Tr

Fuel pump relay

If this happens every time you start your truck and it shuts off the same each time, you just might have a dirty fuel filter only allowing so much gas pass through until it clogs once again. I once had a chevy van, when I would drive it, would go a few miles and engine would shut down.   I would wait 10 or 15 minutes, it would start up and allow me to drive a few more miles then shut down again.  I changed the fuel filter, It was fine after that.
