Picture is black

Hi, when i take a picture in say a club or sumwhere like that the flash goes off and everything however when i go back n look at the pic its just black. dont understand why? any ideas?

    No lens cap isnt on.

    same problem, athough not completely black, just veeeery dark. PS there is no lens cap, the on switch is the removal of it..
    I tried all setting to my knowing. What does saf mean btw. that's the only thing in the display i could not alter.

Flash screen? What? You mean even in pictures with flash disabled (and the flash does drag down the electronics in the thing; make a replacement using an LED lamp and circuit if you have a chance) it takes no picture and leaves you with a black LCD? Are you indeed using a good battery (they go bad gradually (depending on the case on how many times you fire the flash!)) New battery first!

Dynex 32" tv picture goes black

If there is still about ? 24. Volts coming from the Power Board when it goes dark, it will be the Inverter board that needs replacing. If not, it is the Power Board that needs replacing. The Voltages should be written next to the sockets & plugs on the Power Board.
