As person them self is the hardest. You need to do your home work as it is said. Check personal info, history, background etc. Even big agencies and private detectives doesn't always get it right. if the screen broke, you need a whole new lcd panel and that costs as much as a new tv. I would sell it to a tv repair person or sell it for parts on ebay. you can also part it out yourself and sell the parts individually. Look for a local buyer on craigslist, usually someone on there is parting out tvs and monitors
