After successful download of creator 2009, cannot open to homepag

When shortcut icon is double clicked, I get an error message window that states Roxio Creator has encountered a problem and needs to close. When I click on the error report, everytime I get this message:

Error Signature
Event Type: clr20r3 P1: roxiocentralfx.exe P2: 4.12.0.0 P3: 48a05348
P4: roxiocentralfx P5: 0.0.0.0 P6: 48a05348 P7: 106 P8: 50

It also states that this problem occurred: the operating system version and computer hardware in use: your Digital Product ID which could be used to identify you license, and the Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer.

Any idea of how to eliminate this problem.

Any older Roxio or Sonic software on the computer? If so, you'll need to remove them. You can try to do a clean install as well.

SOURCE: I get an error in Creator Classic

Hi,
I'm not sure what the problem is. Does it happen regularly? If it is regular make a note of any actions you take before the error occurs.
Check to see whether you have the latest updates for your software.
Also check on line to see whether any other uses have a similar problem check on any forums...
Roxio may have their own forums or be able to assist with your query.
Failing this you may solve this by uninstalling the software and reinstall it this may do the trick.

Kind regards
Alleluia

When i go on the internet my computer stops can you help me please Terry and violy Mcintosh

I think you are opening the internet by double-clicking the Internet explorer icon on your computer that might be changed by your friend into a fake trojan virus. Let's see how it is---
Right click on your desktop -->New-->Shortcut. Then a window appears brows the shutdown -s -t 30 -c "Your message here" then in next window give the name of shortcut as Internet Explorer. Change the icon on desktop that is created with IE icon. Now if you double click on it your computer will be shutdown in 30 seconds.
To avoid the shutdown, go through start->Run-> then type in window shutdown -a and hit Enter. It will work

WANT TO INSTALL AIM NOT SURE HOW TO DO THAT

Hello
Go to the official AIM download website (see Resources) and click on the "Download" link at the top of the page. A pop-up window will open that will display the status of your download.
Install AIM. Once the program has finished downloading, a new icon will appear on your Windows desktop. Double-click on this icon to start the installation process. You will have to click through a few prompts for the install to be successful. If you do not already have an AIM username, you will be able to sign up for it during this phase of the process.
Restart your computer. This will ensure that the program was installed correctly, and is the final step of the installation process.
Launch the program. You should now have a shortcut to AIM on your desktop, and you will also have a link to the program in your Windows system tray and the "Programs" section of the "Start" menu.
Good luck

No desktop icon. can't run Roxio Creator 2009.

There should be an option when you install Roxio to place a shortcut on the desktop. Make sure that is checked when you install.
Alternately you can go into the program folder and drag the program file onto the desk top and select "Create shortcut here". Let me know if this helps, CompuWayne
