My emachine computer has a black message screen,it will not bring up my windows for any reason what can I do to fix the problem and get online

If it's a black screen with no messages just hold down the power button on your PC, wait for it to turn off and let go. Wait a bit and turn it back on and hit the F8 key and select to start up Windows using SAFE MODE. It should work than.

A pop-up window keeps coming <KAV 201- Notification license> asking me to update. when I click on update, My update centre says STOP Update 0% instead of asking me to START Update. It also says the...

You need to wait for an update process. If this is the first time you have updating, its became too long to wait since update database is too big. Also depends on your internet connection speed..
License notification means you need to activate the software, fill it with the activation code you have when you purchased then select activate.

Have lost four preset channels on my Technika DAB 109CR digital clock radio and lost manual so have nothing to consult to get back these stations. Everything live but showing only one station constantly

Finally sussed out how to (re)set presets, overall you need a little patience:
Probably best to press Autotune before we set off and let it do its thing.
Press 'presets' and find a free channel or the one you want to change, leave it until you can hear the station its on play.
Now, press 'jog/select' and WAIT until it says <SELECT> (but don't wait too long when it says this or you'll have to start again)
Use dial to find station you want AND LEAVE to tune in.
Press AND hold presets down until number flashes.
Press jog/select once briefly (normally).
Press presets once briefly...it should now say "Saved"
Leave to save for a few seconds.
Voila!
You can now change station either by pressing Presets and moving dial...waiting for the station to load OR press jog/select to manually tune to the station of your choice using the dial.

Hi, Everytime I turn on my DELL Dimension 5150 I am faced with the following message: A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. UNMOUNTABLE...

This sounds like it can not mount your boot file from hard drive which needs to load windows. Sometimes this will happen if you leave a floppy, cd or some kinda usb flash drive in computer when rebooting and it does not happen always. I would try to boot in to safe mode as message is saying. To boot in to safe mode modet computers use F8 key. Turn off your pc and then as soon as you push power button start tapping key F8 located on top of keyboard. You can stop once you get screen that says Advanced startup menu. Choose option Safe mode and press enter. You will need to use arrows to make selection. Once you choose safe mode wait for the loading to be done and then choose ether your windows name or Administrator. Once in safe mode you will get error message just ignore it and press yes. When windwos comes up try to do a restore to previous date. Go to start-programs-accessories-system tools-system restore.in system restore choose restore to earlier time and on the calendar choose date that your computer was working fine. I usually go even week prior to when computer stopped working. Your data will be saved but if you have installed some programs you might have to reinstall them. Hope this helps.

Problem opening Access Database-upgrade from Access 2003 to 2007

if the form "products" really exists, then your office 2007 security settings are not allowing to load macros. Try the following settings:-

Office 2007 has some security settings disabled by default to prevent any harm to your system.

go to trustcenter settings(click the office button at the top left of the office 2007 screen then click Access options, then select Trustcenter, then click trustcenter settings.)
In trustcenter settings, select message bar then select "Show the message bar in all applications when content is blocked" radio button.

Then from macro settings ,make sure to select "Disable all macros with notification" . Click ok twice to close the settings windows and try opening the file again.

Good Luck

Msgs light on Motorola DCT3412

The red message light means that your cable tv provider has left you a message. (Next to the red message light you'll see a faint yellow digit indicating the number of waiting messages.)

To read your messages, do the following:

(1) On your remote, press the "Menu/Settings" button once. This brings up the "Quick Menu."

(2) Press the "Menu/Settings" button again. This brings up the "Prevue Menu."

(3) In the "Prevue Menu," scroll down and select "Messages."

(4) Read the waiting message by pressing the "OK/Select" button on your remote.

(5) To exit the Prevue Menu, press the "Menu/Settings" button.

Hi. The symptoms you described may be due to corruptions in the player's music database (this player maintains an information pool on the music files you download to it). To resolve that, you would need to delete that database and let the player re-create a new one. To delete the corrupted database, let's do this: Step 1: Switch your player to MSC mode Step 2: Browse the player in "Windows Explorer", and look for the folder named "System" and/or "Data". Note: if you can't locate these folders, your Explorer may be configured to "Hide" system files and folders. To change that, please go to "Tools" on the menu list on the Explorer window, then choose "Folder Options". This will display a Window arranged in tabs. Select the "View" tab, find the "Hidden Files and Folders", then choose the "Show Hidden Files and Folders" radio button Step 3: Under the "system" or "data" folder on the Sansa E260, look for this file and delete it: "PP5000.dat" Step 4: Safely remove your Sansa E260. Then power it on. Your player will now either display "Rebuilding Library. Please Wait" or "Finalizing Update". Either way, it would re-build the database and hopefully resolve the error your player is encountering. I hope this helps. I love the Sansa E260!!
