Question about Epson Stylus CX5000 InkJet Photo Printer

1 Answer

CX5000 Hi: I bought a new CX5000 from US and brought it to India. I have the right adaptor and it worked pretty well for a couple of weeks. Now, suddenly all the lights started blinking. The cartridges are brand new. Obviously, I cannot take it back to Frys. Please help.

If this about the ink cartridge. I have the same issue.

Purchased new and install the cartridges ink was gone in about 20 days with no heavy printing just once in a while.was sent new cartridges with thw same problem.

The printer was exchange under the warranty. and it's doing the same thing.

Just got it with new cartridges and was going to print.watch the ink level drop from full to half full before the printing started.

I have the same printer and had problems. I called and they said it was still under a one year warranty. After going through a few trouble shooting steps, it still had problems. They sent me a new printer and had me send the old one back. If you're still under warranty, you sould try this.

Xbox adaptor burns by over voltage

You should buy a new power adapter of 220V. Your Xbox should be safe. I faced similar situation when I pulgged my xbox in India and this was resolved by buying a new power adapter.

I have bought a wii in us. i brought it to india, bought a plug, and tried it but i think it got shocked help

In case you brought it from US and didn't use a manual stabilizer to bring down the voltage to 110 and plugged it in India in that case the power supply for the wii is blown and you would need to get it repaired because in India the voltage used is 220 V as compared to US and some other countries where the voltage is much less than 220V.

Can i use an Xbox 360 bought in USA in India - given the voltage conversion required? would there be any seperate adaptor available for 220 volt usage in India

You can purchase a volt adapter (rather common in travel stores/airports) but over time the device's power-supply will wear out because of the frequency difference.

North America runs at 60hz
India runs at 50hz

Adaptor not working?

You need a transformer-type adapter that takes an input of 220-240V and steps it down to 120V output. If you bought the unit in the USA, you may have a problem if it is NTSC-only and doesn't have a NTSC-PAL switch to select the correct video format for India.
