Question about KitchenAid KSB3 Classic Work Top Blender
After sitting in storage for 2 years, I turned on my KitchenAid blender - red on light blinks as usual, but when I go to press one of the settings - the green lights blink in sequence and nothing works. Does it need service?
Alternating blinking lights on a Kitchenaid blender indicate a bad circuit board which is unable to run the motor properly. Unplug the blender, take the jar off, and turn the spindle by hand. Then plug it back in. If it does not work properly, try a different outlet (perhaps not in the kitchen). If nothing works, the blender needs to be repaired.

Same problem. Cycling green lights and blinking red, but no action, even with different electrical outlets. Blades and motor are not frozen.
Inside the wand of the blender and above the blade is a green plastic disk that has dropped down. How do I replace it?
