Hey folks, I know this is an old problem, and had I had my wits about me I would never have purchased the 1GB Ilo Mp3 Player.
Is there anyway I can play tracks in the right order. I've tried all the reccomendations - putting track numbers before the Track etc, and it is still rubbish.
Is there any fix from ILo on this. Hope you can help.

Check the owners manual for limitations on the external memory. Sometimes the MP3 player has a limit on external memory. Lets say 2 GB. Also make sure the lock switch is disengaged. Also try to reformat the player.
OK what that means is that although the Max is 1GB, after FORMATTING & Directory Structure, IE: The "Roadmap" for the disk so the PC etc know how to "Use" it well that "Takes Up" the difference in Bytes. Perhaps there are some programs on it? All Memory like that has this occur. It does seem to me to be a bit "High" but it may indeed be correct.. 1GB = 1024 x 1024

if you have a ilo model mp-556 (on the back cover) this page has links to the firmware ... i follow the instruction and got mine working.
the upgrade program has a formating feature that will reformat the space you use to store songs. ( basicly if will delete all the stuff seen and unseen in the storage area and set it back to factory specs.
