I have bought a new PS2. I plugged it and turned it on, but nothing happens. No console or main menu is shown on the TV screen. I have verified all the connections but still nothing works.

Turn off PS3 system.. 1: Reset your modem by unplugging it from the main power source. 2: After a few minutes, plug modem power back into modem. Allow all connections to configure 3: Turn on PS3 system. 4: Go to "Settings" then scroll all the way down to "Network Settings" 5: Make sure that the "internet connection" (the second menu) is "Enabled" 6: Go to "Internet Connection Settings" and go through the motions again.

Hi,
check the fuse in the plug.
disconnect the mains cable from the console, then re-connect it.
make sure the power on off switch, at the back of the console is in the on position.
