Question about Toshiba 27DF46 27" TV

Brown spot in picture

My 1-year old Toshiba 27DF46 has had a brown spot or brown patch in the upper left corner of the picture for some time. The spot is most noticable against light colored backgrounds. I had called a local repair shop and described the problem to them in the hopes of getting it fixed under the warranty period and I was told there wasn't much they could do to fix it. No lie, that's what they said. Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it? Other than the spot, the picture is pretty good. Thanks.

You might have a couple of dry joints, and you might also have a bad PTC inside that degauses the screen when tv starts up. Please try another good tech for a service. Patrick

I Have a Toshiba 27DF46 The Picture is shifted to the right about 3 inches or so. other than that the picture is fine but I can't see the right edge on the picture. Any thoughts

Try going into the picture settings in the options. Many Toshiba TVs have the option to move the picture up, down, left, and right. See if you are able to position the TV to the left more.

Also, see if there is a reset button in the options. A setting may have been switched that caused this.

I need the wiring colour codes for 2002 santa fe car stereo

Hi,

Basically the wiring of the large harness corresponds to the pins like this.

Starting in the upper right hand corner and working down the right side from A12 down to A1.

1=Left rear output-red
2=Left rear output-blue
3=Right rear output-black
4=Right rear output-yellow
5=empty
6=Left front input-black
7=Left front input-yellow
8=Left rear input-orange
9=Left rear input-green
10=Amp 'ON'-blue&orange
11=empty
12=Amp sensor-black&orange

Back up to upper left hand corner on the large plug

13=Right front tweeter output-red
14=Right front tweeter output-blue
15=Left front tweet output-red
16=Left front tweeter output-blue
17=empty
18=Right front input-red
19=Right front input-white
20=Right rear input-blue
21=Right rear input-red
23=Right front sub (+) output-yellow
24=Right front sub (-) output-black

The small harness is the same above with the upper right position being pin 1 going down to pin 4 then back up to the top for pin 5 down to pin 8.

1=Memory Power-Lrg White

Hope this will help you.

Thank you

5 year old RCA 50 inch projection tv. Picture went off.

If you are using component cables make sure they are all connected properly( pushed all the way in and in the correct input). I have seen the red cable come loose several times and cause no red color in the picture. When you change the lamp it is easy to pull on one of those cables and cause it to come loose.

Blue snowy pixel areas on my plasma

some of these panels were mis-calibrated from the factory after not aging long enough. Let the TV run for atleast 2 hours and adjust the Vs and Vscan voltages. When it is blue in the left I have found generally the Vs is about 10 volts too high.
