Monitor flashes on, clear, crisp, beautiful, then 2 seconds later goes black and will only come back on if i unplug it and plug it back in, but again only for a couple of seconds. the green light indicating the monitor is connected stays on at all times.
I have same problem but only have amber or blue lights. Whats the deal here?

The green light only lets you know there is a valid video signal reaching the monitor. If the green light was not "on" your problems would possibly be within the pc itself. Something is not holding the circuit for the backlight "on" thus going black. Suggestions are: 1. Take it to get it repaired (if not under warranty) Hyundai carries a 3 yr warranty on this monitor. Website provided. 2. Buy a new monitor http://www.hyundaiq.com/Eng/Customer/CusSvc/Csvc.asp

Same problem here. It will show the image for about 2 seconds(thought about 50% brightness) than when into sleep. It's not the PC's problem, for I connect it to my old monitor and will be perfectly fine. Now I need to dig out the old receive. At lease, now I know it's not just mine.
about ever 30 seconds the screen turns black for a about a second and comes back on
