My saniflo under the sink started beeping twice yesterday and continues every 6 minutes. What is that?

may need a backflow preventer in the waste line under the sink..it is basically a ball on a spring..designed to make the water go only one way..I am guessing the wasteline was opened up with a plumbing snake..that pump may have too much backpressure from the head line..

There is a product called Wham that works very well for this appplication.You will probably have to go to a plumbing supply outlet to find it. Just follow directions on container after you have the system clean and use monthly. It also helps with odor control. Hope this helps you. Thanks.

One thing to check is the check valve may be leaking back, float may be faulty, toilet maye be leaking and filling tank causing pump to come on.

is it pumping against gravity? if so there is a non-return flap in the outlet spigot could be stuck or worn.

The float switch will be the problem.
We do not replace the switch, just change the unit as labour to strip and replace switch makes it un economical.

if the unit is properly clean and you have checked the fuse - then i suggest it is the microswitch that needs replacing. these tend to go (break) within 5 years on the sanivite 3 models. If not the swich then it could be the capacitor (try this first - although as the swich is located next to the capacitor you can test this for operation at the same time). if none of this works then its time for a new unit.

This is just a start, report back with results and we can continue.

Unplug the battery and the power adapter for 30 minutes .. After this, plugin the power adapter and try starting up.

What happens? If there is no change, there is a cover in the bottom which you can open, two screws



Find the memory slot, this is just a random picture I got on my hands on, the memory may be under a diffrent slot

UNPLUG and REMOVE BATTERY
Note that we are only using the power adapter and no battery during this process, keep the battery removed untill you have closed the ram cover and the laptop is working again.



Gently snap the ram out of its sockets note the holders on the module sides. Take both out, turn the laptop over and try starting up again, Remember Always when removing components from a computer UNPLUG and REMOVE BATTERY

With no memory the laptop should Beep a few times, please count the beeps short and long for me, then reinsert the other ram module, make sure its well seated and theres noting on the table no screws or anything that would damage the computer, turn it over again, you can keep the cover open, thats why I said make sure theres no screws or anything under it. Try starting up, what happens? beeps? IT should start up. Note that we are only using the power adapter and no battery during this process
