Try plugging it into a known live outlet. if this still doesn't work, you need to get inside it. find the enthalpy control - humidity control and see if it turns. a contact inside may stay open preventing the fan and compressor from turning on. check your on-off switch if there is one. to remove the case look in back for hex head screws or on the bottom of the unit

My Haier dehumidifier has the bucket full light on and won't reset. It's only a month old. I tried unplugging, resetting and i'ts still stuck on bucket full. Any ideas on how

sorry to say but the bucket level sensors on these tend to be a bit tricky , it seems theres two possible holes the piviot point for float can go in , only one is correct for sensor to hit right , but both allow float to swing , and there not marked either

Never no water in dehumdidifer to empty

I'd suggest you (1) make sure dehumifier is plugged in, (2) the circuit it's connected to is live (breaker not tripped and fuse not blown - this is easily tested by plugging in an appliance (e.g., hair dryer) you know works). If the unit turns on, it is likely defective - unless there is a hose connected to the dehumidifier that reroutes the water removed from the air to a drain (is there moisture collecting somewhere within 6-10' of the unit?). If it doesn't turn on, and you've troubleshooted the above to ensure there is electricity to the receptacle, then it's either defective or the moisture setting for removal needs to be adjusted for the humidity in your basement. Perhaps it's dryer down there than you thought, or your hygrostat (? - whatever the doohickey is called that senses humidity level) is set at too high a level that it never turns on/trips in your area. Hope it helps.

Dehumidifer will not turn on. An E2 code comes up on the panel. Has been working fine for 4 day.

Since it has been working well for 4 days, it may be a case that the unit needs to reset itself. To accomplish this, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF. Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and wait 12 - 15 minutes. Then plug the unit back into the wall outlet and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. Set the controls as you normally do. Hopefully, that timeout allowed the unit to reset itself. Also, check to make sure that the water collection bucket is installed properly and is making good contact with the safety switch.

Hope this helps you solve the problem.

Haier 45 Pint Electronic Dehmidifier Error Code E2

Jason, currently the only 45 pint dehumidifier that Haier sell is Model # DE45EK or DE45EK-L or EK-T. If any of those matches the Model Number of yours, you can down load and print the Owners Manual from the link below. However, the model numbers I listed make no reference to Error Code E2. If your Model Number does not correspond to any of those numbers, your unit is probably no longer manufactured or available.

http://www.haieramerica.com/en/asset/product/4ba7175e54

With that said, there are two things you can do. First, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF. Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and wait 12 - 15 minutes. Then, plug the unit back in and turn the Master On/Off Switch to ON. Did the Error Code clear itself. If so, set the controls as you normally would.

If that didn't solve the problem you can contact Haier Customer Service at 877-337-3639 and they will advise you what to do, to clear the error code.

Hope this helped you to solve the problem.

Unit does not turn on when the on-off button is pressed. No indicator lights come on. The line cord is good - I have 118 volts across the black and white wires inside the cabinet.

This unit has a 12 amp 125v glass tube fuse on the control board. Chances are you blew this fuse. This can happen if the unit is starved for air and ices up. you must take the front of this unit off to access the fuse of this control board.

Hi,
Thanks qrx1llb3 for the help!
After carefully removing the plastic covers (yes, u need to remove both, I removed first the back one then the front one by pulling up, then disconnect the cable that joins the panel on the front cover with the electronic board on the upper right area) I found the electronic board with the blown up fuse. My was under a blue plastic cover. I'll try to replace it and see what happens! thanks for the help! :)

Haier HDN655E Dead

There is an internal fuse. Take off the outer plastic casing. The fuse is on the bottom of the board on the upper right of the unit. It's a 12 amp fuse. I had the same problem and found the fuse blown.

No lights on control panel. Plug is powered.

Independent of the bucket switch, the control panel should light when the unit is plugged into a powered receptacle and the on/off switch is depressed. The problem is likely the 12 amp. fuse located inside of the unit.
