Bridging your amplifier @ 4 ohm will yield the most power.... with the subwoofers you have.
You must wire them in Parallel.
Positive on both subwoofers to + on amplifier.
Negative on both subwoofers to - on amplifier.
The lowest impedence possible with 8 ohm woofers is 4 ohms.

I am tryin to install a sony xplode amp and subwoofer in my car to the stock stereo but i dont know what wire to splice into for the rem on my amp

for a remote turn on you can use the acc off of the ing ( test 12volt when car is on befor crank goes to 0 during crank then comes back to 12 voltswhen car is running 12 volts also goes to 0 when ing is turned off and key is in off positon. 12 volts from the battery fused 12 inches from connection and ground. also are you using some sortof high level adapter for an audio signal( this would tap into left and right spks either front or rears and provde you with rcas for your amp

I have a four channel rockfor fosgate amp and I need to know hows the best way to connect Infinity Reference 1252w Car Subwoofers

Rockford fosgate usually work best with 2 ohm speakers. Depending on the resistance of your speakers, will then give you best connection. Check the resistance for the subwoofers. If the subwoofers are two ohm then connect them directly right and left. But if they are 4 ohm connect them parrallel (positive to postive, negative to negative and bridge the amp.) Good Luck, please rate.

Connecting subwoofers

Good day. I take it that you have two subwoofers to connect and will explain the connections thereof. Place the two subwoofers face down and notice the connection point marked -, + on the one speaker, and the same-,+ on the second speaker. Now connect the center + and - together, leaving the two outer connection points open. The outer connection points will go to your amp. Next, take note on your amp, a "bridge" connection. It should be the outer connections on your amp. Hope this helps

I dont have any cosmetic problems with my subs .. but i have 4, 12 inch hifonics olympian subs in one sealed box. and i cant find any specs on them at all.. do you know the watts and rms wattage and how...

look on the bottom of subwoofer should say like olm2412 olm1612 olympus the 1612 is the rms and speaker size 2412 is 2400 rms and the 12 stands for 12 inch subwoofer.i think thair is only 2 modles . also u have 4 u would need a 10,000 rms amp if thay are the olm2412s or 6,000 rms amp to push 4 olm1612. as far as box building info i think you should call maxxsonnics. 847-540-7700 talk to mike

SWR-1242D wired at 4ohms

Hi!

Having to much power for a subwoofer is a veeeery good thing, it will provide a lot of control and quality sound to your sub.

But this sub is a dual voice coil at 2 x 4ohm so if you want to hook it up at 4 ohm u need a 2 channel amplifier running mono mode.

i dont recomend that you hook up in 4 ohm, its better to take some time adjusting the levels on the amp and the headunit.

This system has the potential to create a realy good bass sound if u tune it the right way.

Wiring

You may be surprised to learn that even though there is a negative and positive on the sub it usually dont matter all that much because that amp allows you to switch the polarity of its outputs to allow your mids to sound better... anyways on to your question To wire a sub it depends on how many you have, if they are dual or single voice coils, what impediance your amp is stable at. Tell me what type of amp you are hooking this subwoofer up to and how many are being connected. And ill try and give you the best way to connect the sub(s) to your amp.
