Question about Toshiba Qosmio F25-AV205 Notebook
Hi, I did a Google on your error 437 and it would seem that this problem pops up only if: 1. using SYMANTEC (Ghost); or 2. using Original Toshiba Restore Disc. where possibly: a. the restoration procedure needs to write a log file somewhere (A:?) which does not exist and therefore waits; b. the restore disc is probably corrupted; and/or c. the Ghost image is corrupted. A few things you can try: * On another computer, check the integrity of your recovery disc; * Get hold of another Windows installer and do a complete, clean, fresh install (you will have to use your original Win numbers @ the bottom of your laptop). You will only need the recovery disc for your hardware drivers; or * Call Toshiba Support and get assistance. I was made to understand that they provide replacement Recovery Disc (>50USD).
