Memory card problem on SPH-M610

I am trying to start up my media file in my phone to download information via a USB from my PC to Phone. When I try to create a Media Folder this error message appears: ''Error RM04: memory card access error. Please try again.'' Does this mean my memory card is defective?

My problem is that I have a 2gig sd card that my Samsung m610 will not receive any pics. The display screen recongnizes the memory card but I cannot transfer any data to the memory card. I know the card works because I tried it on another phone. Any help would help. Thanks.

I have the same problem. The 2 Gb SanDisk worked for a few hours, and then I got the same error messages.

Also, on the way to total failure, the m610 started to add an underscore and / or a period to the start of music file names. Is this related to the problem? As I was trying to upload music from Limewire, I wondered if this was an anti-piracy protocol gone way too far! [ but it could be iTunes / Mac too.... Before it failed absolutely, the player would play about 1.5 seconds of a song and then freeze up.

The dinky little 64k chip that came with the phone still works. Another 2 Gb Sandisk fresh out of the package failed immediately.

This pretty thing was friggin' expensive! Shouldn't Samsung or the service providers have worked this out by now?

I had the same problem. The store where I got my phone checked another phone off the shelf and it had the same problem, and so did another one. But they gave me a 512 mb card and it works. But I still want my 64 mb card working.

I have no software for SGH-m610 mobile for pc use i want to know which software it support for internet.

This is the USB driver for your phone. It lets you connect to your phone and let it be used as a modem. Just remember that they still charge you for using your phone.

LG Prada Phone and how to download mp3 onto it

I have posted information in 'hints and tips' regarding media files (pictures mp3s etc).  The first thing to remember when sending files to your phone is that they have to be done one at a time as the phone memory is limited.  The phone has a memory card inside it which is extra/external to the phone memory.  What is confusing is that you cannot send files directly to this memory card so each file you send to the phone has to be moved to the 'external memory' before you send another to the phone.
