There is no audio output device on my dell inspiron 6000 what can i do?
You need to reinstall the drivers. Get these from support.dell.com
I'm not sure what you are referring to with the statement "...no audio output device...". Is it audio volume control or is it no audio at all? In either case, assuming you are using WinXP or Vista Operating System, you can go to Start > Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices and adjust the Volume or Unmute, if the sound is muted. Alternately, if there is a Speaker icon, displayed at the lower right Task Bar, you can click on the Speaker Icon to adjust the Master Volume or Unmute. Normally, all the Audio Output Drivers are embedded in the WinXP or Vista OS.
