I bought new LG Fridge(GL-205KL5/2012 model) 6 months back. It gives buzzy noice from key hole up to 1 min when ever i close the door. Recently i observed and listen the water gurgling sound (once i open and close the door) from back after plug in after 24hrs(which my unit power was off by 24hrs). What is the problem for the sound and how should i fix this?
SOURCE: LG Fridge making intermittent sound - like something hitting fan
GAIN ACCESS TO THE FAN IN THE FREEZER(EASIER SAID THAN DONE) AND INSPECT THE FAN BLADE AND FAN SHROUD. HAVE REFRIGERATOR TURNED OFF AND MANUALLY ADVANCE FAN BLADE. WATCH FOR SLIGHT CONTACT BETWEEN THE FAN BLADE AND OTHER OBJECTS NEAR IT-ELECTRICAL WIRING, FAN SHROUD, ICE CYCLE,ETC. ADJUST FAN BLADE OR OBJECT TO INCREASE CLEARANCE.
SOURCE: gurgling noise
gurgling noises are not unusual - after all there is a gas/liquid mixture being circulated
SOURCE: Right Door is making loud popping noise
After reading these posts, I fixed my refrigerator door in less than 5 minutes. The little black plastic cam on the bottom hinge was loose. To fix it, take the hinge cover off of the top with an 8mm socket, and remove the three 8mm screws holding the top hinge on. Remove the door by lifting up off of the bottom hinge and set it aside. On the bottom hinge is a black plastic cam held on by an 8mm screw. The screw on mine was really loose. Tightening it and putting the door back on made it work like new. You probably don't have a bad cam, just a loose one.
