Do you happen to work with steel alot? I work for a steel company building fans, and I got a ton! of steel shavings stuck to the speaker in my phone, I took it apart and cleaned the dust off the speaker with a can of air, compressor should work too... all i did was remove the 2 larger screws in the lower part of the battery bay and carefully removed the back, voiding my warenty but BE CAREFUL all of the brains of the phone are in that compartment and you can turn it into a paper weight pretty quick but I survived and it only took a few min, i lived with having my phone on vibe for only a week and it was horrid. hope this helps!

I have the ring tone set to vibrate & the phone does not vibrate. this just recently happened. Use to work fine before.

The vibe motor is inside the phone and can be replaced at a service center. Hopefully the unit has no physical or liquid damage.

Won't Ring

check the settings in your phone book. this happened to my phone and all of the personal ring tones were set to vibrate. I don't know how this happened. I went into each contact and changed the ring tone to none and I am back in business

MOTO PEBL MESSAGE AND RING TONE

i think this is what you're going for...Go to SETTINGS, then RING STYLES. Whatever ring style (ie, vibrate, silent, vibe & ring, vibe then ring, loud, soft), underneath is the detail for it, which you can then change (bottom right of screen).

So right now my phone is:
"Style: Vibe & Ring" and underneath that is "Vibe & Ring Detail"
Under the details, you can change your ring tone by scrolling down to the "Calls" option and choose change (bottom right of screen). And to change your message tone, just go to "Messages" and then change (bottom right of screen).

Hope that helps!

Phone not ringing

Just recently the Innovage LED touch screen phone stopped ringing. It has worked perfectly as a home office phone since Oct. 2005. Cannot find anything in the tiny manual to correct this problem.

In vibrate mode, phone continues to vibrate after being answered

The phone is in "vibe then ring" mode.

Go to tools then ring styles using the "-" at the top center of the keypad. It will be set to vibe then ring, press "change" alter the style to vibe, vibe then ring, silent, loud or whatever you like. That is also where you find what ringtone is used for the ring.

Only 1 phone rings

There is a small battery inside your main control unit that keeps programming in memory during a power outage. The life of the battery is about 5 years give or take. When the system goes down for an extended period (or possibly several quick on/off cycles) your programming will be wiped out. By default, only a few telephones will ring. The battery is most likely a small blue 3-cell battery soldered right on the main board. It's not easily replaced. You can get a technician to replace it or hook up a standard battery backup unit (UPS) made for a computer. Your phone system uses less power than a computer so it can use any UPS and will last longer than advertised. Hard to say exactly how long. Just don't re-program the system until you take care of the problem or it will just default on you again.
