My son tried to download a game and the notebook picked up a virus and now its not working. when i put it on it says that the security is out of date and it start a real fast scan then stop and says that it dont have enough space. the only thing i can do is turn on and off

What is your anti virus? Try to make a live update for your windows and anti virus. Try to check your window firewall, it must be turned on.

thanks so far,,,, Its Mcafee i think,, its the one it came with. And i cant get past the virus scan, the only thing i can do is turnd it off
And if i have to format how do i do that?
what i'm saying is this,,,, i connot get on, when i turned it on it start a real fast scan and shows all the unti virus in red and then the scan will stop and a message come up and says not enough space. them everything just stick and the only thing i can do after is shutdown
