Obri cam on my new acer 5610z is not working

New computer, was working then quit error message that says obri cam quit working no help

** Note ** When the My Pictures or Pictures folder gets full, camera will not work - Cut and Paste all pictures in that
folder to another folder and restart Orbicam program.

If that does not work then do this:

Start - Programs - look for Acer Empowering Technology then Acer E-Recovery - The look at the bottom and you will
"Backup", "Burn disk" and Restore" choose Restore - choose Apps and Drivers at the bottom of Restore tab (it will say
extracting) - once extracted - click Install or Guides and Manuals if needing Orbicam instructions - click Vista or (XP) on the left - click Drivers - click Camera or CCD - on the
right side of the screen, then look for Bison driver or (or your model which can be found in device manager - control panel - system - device manager - Imaging devices) you have then click a phrase that has something like "Install now", follow on screen instructions. Then repeat steps above and instead of driver choose Bison (or your model which can be found in device manager - control panel - system - device manager - Imaging devices) Utility

This is a common problem transfer your pics to another folder. some glich. once pics are in another folder orbicam will work again.

Try a system restore ( start\programs\system tools\system restore) go back a day or so and restore, try it again.

    you did not say which Operating system you are using which is important as I am going to suggest you install the driver. at any rate I am going to give you the link where you can select your computer model and operating system from the drop down menus. from the horizontal menu choose driver and select your camera make

    Web cam is not working

    First remove the current driver from add/remove programs applet in Control Panel ,reboot and then reinstall the driver from the drivers CD or download it from Acer:

    Select Notebook ,Aspire ,then 5610z, by default the operating system is Windows Vista but you can change it if you have Windows XP.
    Download the bison driver and reinstall it.

    Well I have an acer laptop also. There could be a few reasons for the black screen. One under control panel in device manger under your cam. update the driver. or you need to uninstall yahoo messager and reinstall it. or you have some third party software that could be fighting with the cam driver. get new driver.. try

    One thing I would recommend straight off is installing updated drivers for your laptop. It's quite simple to d.

    This is a driver guide for Acer laptops.

    Select Notebook, and then Aspire 5610z. And then from the right hand list, find the appropriate driver. This should fix the issue.

    If it still doesn't help, then I would suggest giving Acer a quick call on this issue since it's all internal.
